Theme for this year's Horizon Short Film Festive is "Climate".
You are invited to address the time with the following point as inspiration:
- The political/social climate of the country today, as we look at the upcoming General Election
Selection Criteria
- Films that resonate with our theme
- Films that touch on the topic of "current political climate"
Submissions Criteria
- Open to all Malaysians
- At least ONE of the Director, Producer or Writer must be under the age of 35.
- The submission should be done by the person who’s 35 years old or below.
- If your film is selected, we will contact you via email or phone by the end of November 2022.
- All films must have English OR Bahasa Malaysia subtitles.
- Films completed after Jan 2018 are eligible for submission.
- Films under 10 minutes are eligible for submission.

Eligibility Requirements
- All films must be under 10 minutes.
- Films must have been completed after 1 January 2018.
- Films completed before 1 January 2018 are NOT eligible.
- All entries must be submitted with English OR Bahasa Malaysia subtitles.
- Video resolution must be 1080p or above.

Deadlines
- Entries must be submitted through Film Freeway between 1st September 2022 and 20th November 2022.
