Silk Cat Rescue is a small, ethical, cat rescue charity run entirely by volunteers. We have the same welfare standards as the UK's leading animal rescue charities.

We only rehome locally and away from busy roads and other hazards (indoor-only cats excepted, of course) and usually don't rehome to families with children under five. 

Our charity has simple and clear objectives to help cats:

Homing - Finding good homes for cats in need
Neutering - Supporting and encouraging the neutering of cats
Information - Improving people’s understanding of cats and their care

Please note we ask for a minimum donation of £100 per cat/ £125 per kitten (2 - 12 months old) to help meet some of our costs getting them ready for homing.
