Interface Youth Event: Indigenous Issues

Interface is about empowering youth to live out their faith in their communities. This workshop focuses on Exploring Indigenous Issues and will be hands-on and interactive. No sitting still and listening to a speaker all day!

We will be exploring the National Youth Project Right to Water project in the morning and Canadian Roots Exchange will do an interactive workshop in the afternoon.

Check out the National Youth Project Right to Water here: http://www.justgeneration.ca/resources/national-youth-project/

Check out Canadian Roots Exchange workshop info here: http://canadianroots.ca/home/about-cre/

Why do we care about Indigenous Issues as Christians in Canada?  What does this have to do with my faith in Jesus? How can I help bring about a change? Isn't this issue too big for me to have an impact? We'll be exploring these questions and more as we connect our faith with this social justice issue.

There is no cost. Snacks will be provided. Please bring a bag lunch.

Youth Leaders, please make sure you have a Parental Consent form for all youth with you. This is your responsibility.

**Only youth leaders need to register. Leaders will register themselves and tell us how many youth are coming in your group (your best estimate).**
