The combination of <a href="/wiki/Inca_cuisine" title="Inca cuisine">Inca</a> and <a href="/wiki/Spanish_cuisine" title="Spanish cuisine">Spanish</a> culinary traditions, resulted in new meals and ways of preparing them. Peruvian food can be accompanied by typical drinks like the <i>chicha de jora</i> (a <a href="/wiki/Chicha" title="Chicha">chicha</a> made of tender corn dried by the sun).
