Description: Recovering deleted census & journal citations discussing about the religion of the Kudmi Mahato community. 4 citations have been added to source the claim.

It had been previously vandalised and removed for no apparent reason. A careful examine of the page suggests that a politically motivated user by the name of @RITWIK MAHATA has been exploiting wikipedia for personal gains. The user seems to be deleting verified and trusted sources and including personal opinions and hypothesis with no sources. After reverting others edits, the user @RITWIK MAHATA seems to filter lock the categories to not let others correct his non-truthful claims. Soon the whole page will be made inaccessible and will be under the control of a single individual who treats the page according to his political leanings.

This is what i could grasp from the page's history and comments by other users in the Talk page.

I humbly request you to look into my edit and verify whether the recent edit is in anyway destructive to the content of the page. Thank you.

@Austin-Crix: Please be civil and stop attacking others. The user is not locking the article in any way. Please respect other peoples' differences.

Your edit was disallowed because it contained content similar to people who have often abused Wikipedia's systems.

I think the best way to resolve the conflict is you should discuss with the other user to come to a compromise that doesn't involve arguing. I am really sorry for the harsh language but I really have no choice left.

Whatever edits other users make in the page get reverted instantly by @RITWIK MAHATA according to his bias and the category gets filter locked later to disallow further edits.

If my content had something that even other users had tried to correct previously then clearly the information could be incorrect in the page. Maybe the higher authorities wanna take a look at what happens in the page. Perhaps it's not an "abuse" but genuine people trying to fix errors.

There's literally no choice left for other users in the page except to live with what @RITWIK MAHATA writes according to his views. A lot of people have tried updating the content with appropriate edit summaries but they get reverted according to what suits @RITWIK MAHATA.

The talk page won't be helpful because he's not going to listen to me. Maybe when i edited the information he could have discussed it with me first before reverting it back instantly to what he initially wrote? Austin-Crix (talk) 05:50, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

But no, he is not deleting every edit that he does not agree with, nor is he exploiting Wikipedia for political motives, nor is he locking the page. Yes, I understand why you think you really have no choice left.
