Note
  1. ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Peter Capaldi is a Scottish actor and director. Capaldi has been nominated for various awards including three BAFTA TV Awards nominations and one win for his performance as Malcolm Tucker in The Thick of It. He won and Academy Award for his short film Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life.

In 2022, Capaldi was honoured with an award for "Outstanding Contribution to Film & Television" at the Scottish BAFTA Awards.
