Welcome to Creative Heartlands

Creative Heartlands is a 3-year project developed by Leitrim, Sligo and Roscommon Arts Offices and Local Enterprise Offices to strengthen economic growth and sustain existing enterprises in the film sector and in the design and digital fabrication sector. The project aims to build on the existing structures and infrastructure in the region to sustain and grow the creative sector across the three counties.

The project has invested in film editing suites and film/video shooting equipment for use and hire by the SLR filmmaking community. We also have a growing range of 3D printers, laser cutters, VR headsets, vacuum forming and Fab Lab equipment for the design and digital fabrication sector which is available for use by creatives and local businesses in the counties of Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo.
